Systems integration — SAP Business One
The same data is entered three times: once on the site, once in the sales system, once in a spreadsheet. Every entry is an error and an hour. I connect the systems so a number is entered once and arrives where it belongs.
What the engagement includes
- A review of the existing systems and a map of how data moves between them
- SAP Business One integration through the Service Layer
- Website forms wired into sales or support systems
- Scheduled syncing with an error log and alerts
- Documentation of every integration point, so it never depends on one person
How the work runs
-
01
Inventory
What systems exist, who owns each, and where data is entered twice.
-
02
Design
Direction of flow and the source of truth for each field, fixed before a line is written.
-
03
Build
Integration built on a test environment with copied real data.
-
04
Cutover
Phased migration, monitoring, and a documented handover to your IT team.
Common questions
Do you work with systems other than SAP?
Yes. The principle is the same: an API or a database, and a clear source of truth. SAP is simply what I have implemented most.
What if the system has no API?
We look at the alternatives: scheduled exports, an intermediate database, or file-level automation. And I tell you when it is not worth the money.
