This document explains how asemalkamel.com and the Arabdown product store collect, use and protect personal data. The site’s owner, who is responsible for the data: Asem Alkamel, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. For anything about your data, write to asemalkamel18@gmail.com.
What we collect
When you buy or download a free version:
- Your name and email address, to issue the order and send the receipt and licence key.
- The order details: product, plan, amount, date.
- A customer account, created automatically so you can download your files and follow your licences. Your password is stored encrypted, and we cannot see it.
Payment: through PayPal. Your card details never reach us and we do not keep them; PayPal sends us only the payment confirmation and the transaction number.
When you activate a product on your site: the plugin or theme sends our server the licence key, your site’s address and the product’s version number. We use them to check the licence and the number of sites it allows, and to deliver updates. The check repeats periodically (about once a day) while the product is active.
The free edition of Arabdown SEO downloaded from our store: it checks for updates by sending your site’s address and the version number about every 12 hours. The edition published on WordPress.org does not contact our server.
When you browse the site: we use the cookies needed for the cart and for signing in, and we may use visit-measurement tools such as Google Analytics to understand how the site is used overall. An IP address may be recorded temporarily to protect the server from repeated requests.
Why we use your data
- To fulfil your order, issue the licence, and deliver the files and updates.
- To check that a licence is valid and prevent its misuse.
- To answer support and refund requests.
- To send messages about your purchases, such as the receipt and the licence expiry reminder.
- To improve the site from overall visit statistics.
We do not sell or rent your data to anyone, and we do not send marketing messages without your consent.
Who processes data on our behalf
- PayPal: payment processing.
- Hostinger: hosting the site and its database, and sending the order emails.
- Google Analytics: measuring visits, if we use it.
These parties are bound by their own privacy policies, and we share with them only what the service requires.
How long we keep it
- Order and licence data: for the life of the licence, then for as long as accounting records require.
- Licence check records: for as long as needed to manage the number of activated sites.
- Temporary data that protects the server: deleted automatically within hours.
Your rights
Under the Personal Data Protection Law of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, you have the right to:
- Know what data we hold about you, and get a copy of it.
- Correct any inaccurate data.
- Ask for your data to be deleted, except what we must keep by law or to manage a valid licence.
- Withdraw your consent to non-essential messages at any time.

Security
The site runs over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), the licence server’s replies are digitally signed, and passwords are stored encrypted. Even so, no system is completely secure; if we learn of any incident affecting your data, we will tell you.
Changes
We may update this policy when services or regulations change, and we show the date of the last update at the top of the page.
